INTANGO TSS Students Win National Hackathon - Launch Startups

In a remarkable achievement, five teams of DSE students from INTANGO TSS won top prizes at the recent National Youth ICT Hackathon, earning seed funding for their innovative projects. Several winners have since used their prize money to launch their own startups.

The winning projects include:

• Nobarries - A platform teaching sign language for people with speech disabilities (Project Lead: NTSINZI Francois)
• Ecosort - A robotics and AI system for sorting waste into biodegradable, metal, and non-degradable categories (Project Lead: YVETTE UWIZEYIMANA)
• Amatalink - A system for milk farmers to track production via mobile USSD codes (Project Lead: NSANZIMANA Adolphe)
• Abydash - A SaaS platform helping small businesses (shops, bars, restaurants) digitize their operations (Project Lead: MIHIGO Price)
• Civil Bridge - An AI-powered construction guide and permit generation tool (Project Lead: SAMUEL NIZEYIMANA)
